is holding the annual Instructor Development & Training Seminar from
September 23 - 26, 2008
at the
Devens Common Conference Center
Devens, Mass.
The 4 day seminar is open to bonafide law enforcement personnel and will include all of the following for $195 per person (non-members at $255):
- Admission to the MLEFIAA Law Enforcement Expo (9/23 10a.m. - 3 p.m.)
- A choice of two classroom seminars on the 23rd
- Up to 24 hours of range training
- Lunch on each day of Range Training
The Expo and Classroom Seminars will be conducted at the Devens Common Conference Center which is located adjacent to Fort Devens off Route 2 in Devens, Mass. Range training will be at the Harvard Sportsmans Club which is located about 10 minutes from the Conference Center.
Accommodations are available at the Springhill Suites by Marriott which is part of the conference center. A reduced rate is available to law enforcement personnel.
There will be no "walk in" registrations accepted.
The Law Enforcement Expo is open to all sworn Law Enforcement Officers (with ID)
at no charge and no registration is required to attend only the Expo.

This is much less than you will pay to attend Gunsite, Thunder Ranch, etc., you can get the same high intensity training without the hefty travel expense. MLEFIAA is committed to bringing its members the best training values available. It works out to less than $6.10 / hour. We suggest that you reserve your seat as early as possible since the class size is limited.
How To Select Courses & Register
Click on the COURSE DESCRIPTION button below to open the 2008 Course Selection Guide. This document has each days schedule and a list of courses. A complete description of the course including required equipment can also be found in the Course Selection Guide. Some classes run all day so be sure there are no conflicts with your course selection.
When you have determined which courses you wish to attend, click on the SELECT COURSES - REGISTER HERE button. The registration page will open where you will fill out the information required to sign up. You will also indicate which courses you wish to sign up for. You should list your 3 top choices per session in the order of preference. If you sign up for an all day class, do not sign up for any classes in the afternoon. Classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Due to instructors sending course updates and revisions after the deadline, we have been forced to make ongoing changes to the schedule. These will be made as soon as possible after receiving them from the instructor. Please check back often so you are up to date on any new requirements or changes.
Payment may be made by Check or Money Order payable to MLEFIAA.
Department checks are accepted. Your registration will not be confirmed until your payment or a P.O. has been received.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 10, 2008
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
Cancellation of registration and requests for a refund must be made NO LATER THAN September 5th.
If written notice is received prior to August 1st, 2008 - 80% refund will be given
If written notice is received between August 15 and September 5, 2008 - 40% refund will be given
No refunds will be given after September 5, 2008.
